If you are a car enthusiast, spring time has a whole different meaning to you. Car shows, parades, and just plain showing off in your baby becomes a common event.
Car Show Courteously: These are simple rules to help you avoid issues when attending a show
These vehicles are the owners baby. In todays world, don’t let the 1st appearance fool you regarding values and investments. A “Rat Rod” type may look like it wouldn’t matter if it was scratched. In reality, many of these owners pay a lot on money to obtain a flat or clear coat finish. You may see dents, worn paint and even occasional rust.
Please NEVER open a door, hood or touch someone’s car without asking permission. Most people who do not own a special toy, knows the cost of a quality paint finish. They would be surprised to see how much the high quality finish polishes and spray waxes cost.
Don’t be condescending, judgmental or verbal regarding your opinions. The owner has spent uncountable hours and money creating his/her dream car. If you don’t like it, try to appreciate the effort and investment. We do not all like the same things in life.
